Coralling the most relevant and creative on- and off-line bits that pertain to the design community – and said community is openly invited and encouraged to add their hard-earned links.
Following is a very basic sample page that shows some of the elements to make a simple entry to the design encyclopedia. Click on the Edit this Page found on the bar below the logo and you can then copy and paste the formatting below to start your own page.
The headline or title use the H1 format and this is the only time an H1 should be used.
If you need a subhead, use the H3 format.
For Link use the H2 format. Under “Link” please only include the main, most relevant link. To make links nice and clear, here is an example of how to format it: The design encyclopedia. The outward icon comes up by itself.
For Related Links also use the H2 format. All other relevant and related links to other web sites go here. Do not add outward links in the content of the entry, do those here. If you think a word needs linking in the content please make it an internal link, like, IBM.
That’s it! The Table of Contents is generated automagically.
The Design Encyclopedia is a division of UnderConsideration.
Some content has been gathered from existing sources and has not been altered in any way; in most cases the source is attributed.
