Born in London (1963) to Spanish parents, Fernando Gutiérrez studied graphic design at the London College of Printing, graduating with Honours in 1986. He worked with CDT Design in London; Summa in Barcelona; and in 1993 co-founded Grafica in Barcelona. In October 2000 Fernando joined Pentagram where he became a partner in the London office.
Fernando continues to art direct and design a wide variety of magazines and newspapers, books, packaging, identity, exhibitions and signage. His work has been published and exhibited internationally. He is a member of Alliance Graphique Internationale (AGI).
